Five Fun things to do in Cornwall this February Half Term

February Half Term in Cornwall - Westcountry Resorts

We can’t quite believe that the February half term is upon us! With our range of static caravans for sale in Cornwall, some of the most beautiful locations across the county, we thought we’d compile a list of fun things to do in the region this holiday.

Westcountry Resorts have several holiday lodges for sale at our Par Sands Coastal Holiday Park in the St Austell region – the centre of the Cornish Rivera on Cornwall’s stunning South Coast. It’s a superb setting for your holidays and fun days out include:

The Eden Project: This makes for a fantastic educational and exciting family day out whatever the weather. You’ll have the chance to explore the largest indoor rainforest and discover plants from around the world in the two huge domes.

Charlestown Shipwreck & Heritage Centre: The centre is a fascinating place full of local and maritime history. It’s a great option for a rainy day and is also fantastic value for money.

Lost Gardens of Heligan: With over 200 acres of ancient gardens to discover, this is one of the most mysterious estates in England! From farmland to jungle, it’s a truly beautiful and interesting place to take the family with lots to see and learn. It’s also a great time to visit as lots of work has been done since the summer.

All of these activities are just as accessible from our Seaview International Park, in Boswinger, South Cornwall, where we have numerous holiday lodges for sale too. We also have static caravans for sale in North Cornwall, where you’ll never be short of entertaining activities. Some of our favourites for the family include:

Tintagel Castle: You’ll have heaps of fun exploring the birthplace of King Arthur and imaging life in ancient times. The captivating medieval castle is made all the more atmospheric on a blustery day in February, with waves crashing on the coast from the ruins and the cove below.

St Nectan’s Glen: For some outdoor adventuring, St Nectan’s Glen is a stunning place for a family walk. Nicely, it doesn’t feel commercialised but you can still borrow a pair of wellies for a small cost, allowing you to explore the amazing waterfall even if you come unprepared. It’s a magical place and has been said that you may even spot a few fairies fluttering in the trees!

Cornwall is a truly wonderful place to be spending your February half term, with so many ways to stay entertained come rain or shine. Westcountry Resorts wish you all the fun in the coming week!
