Can you live at Finlake year-round?

Finlake is open for holiday use year-round. This means you can enjoy your lodge at any time during the year. However, you must maintain a fixed home address, and the lodge should be used only for getaways, not as a permanent residence.

Can I let my lodge out at Finlake?

Yes, Finlake offers a rental process via the popular site Hoseasons. Please contact us for further information on holiday lettings at Finlake. Many of the lodges listed below are let out via Hoseasons and cover a large amount of their running costs.

What do prices start at?

Westcountry Resorts offers a selection of private-sale lodges, priced from £45,000 and Finlake Resort and Spa and from £29,995 at Holman’s Wood (Finlake’s sister park in Chudleigh)

Do I get a discount as an owner?

Yes, a lodge owner at Finlake is entitled to 20% off food, spa treatments and children’s activities.

What are the pitch fees?

Pitch fees at Finlake start from £8,953 for a single lodge and £10,308 for a twin unit, payable annually on 1st March. Letting income can be saved and used to pay towards this.

Can family and friends use the park’s facilities?

Yes, they can. For example, a 6-berth lodge would receive 6 passes to access the facilities.

What does residential specification mean?

The BS3632 residential specification is a standard that lodge manufacturers must adhere to and sets the minimum standards for structure and durability, insulation and energy efficiency, heating and ventilation, safety, appliances, and separate components.  The benefits are that the lodge has superior insulation, is suitable for all weathers and year-round living, is more energy efficient, offers better noise reduction, and meets higher safety standards. Many of the lodges we have for sale have this BS3632 residential specification.

Do all lodges come with decking and a hot tub?

How long is the licence on lodges at Finlake?

Our Finlake lodges for sale are pre-loved and sold with the existing lease. All of our listings state the licence end date, so you can be sure it fits your requirements.

Can you fish in the lakes at the Finlake Resort?

Yes, you can fish in the lakes at Finlake. You will need a National Rod licence, which is available at GOV.UK website. See the link for prices. There are junior memberships available, and if you’re aged 13-16, they are free.
