Coast View provides a variety of leisure facilities. You can take a refreshing swim in the indoor pool, unwind in the wellness suite, or get a workout in the state-of-the-art gym. Additionally, kids can expend some energy in the children’s play area. Holiday Home owners are provided with complimentary annual leisure memberships to the licence holders (2) and their dependent children. Additional memberships and day passes are available for purchase.

Corporate golf membership is available at Teignmouth, Bowood Park, and Carlyon Bay. Holiday home owners can play as guests of South West Holiday Parks.

Shaldon Zoo & Wildlife Trust

Located in the seaside village of Shaldon, this small but highly respected zoo is a conservation-focused attraction known for its work with rare and endangered species. Set on about 1 acre of woodland above the coast near Teignmouth, the zoo originally opened in 1963 and is now operated as a conservation charity.

Often described as “the little zoo making a big difference,” it is home to a variety of unique animals including lemurs, tamarins, pygmy marmosets, meerkats, margays, binturongs, as well as rare birds and amphibians. The zoo provides a great experience for families or those looking for a short visit, offering a unique opportunity to see rare animals that you won’t find in larger zoos. Additionally, it actively supports real conservation efforts.

 

 

Teignmouth

Teignmouth is a charming English seaside town located on the south coast of Devon, where the River Teign meets the English Channel. It offers a relaxed, traditional beach atmosphere instead of flashy attractions. Visitors can enjoy a long sandy beach, a Victorian pier, colorful beach huts, and a working harbour that still accommodates fishing boats.

A few highlights of Teignmouth are the seafront and pier: Perfect for a walk, especially at sunset. Back Beach (the riverside): Ideal for calmer waters and popular with locals. The Grand Pier: Home to arcades, stunning views, and classic seaside entertainment.

Babbacombe Model Village

Babbacombe Model Village is one of the UK’s most famous miniature attractions, located in Torquay. It features a detailed, miniature representation of British life set across four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Visitors can explore hundreds of handcrafted miniature buildings, figures, and scenes that are packed with humor, hidden jokes, and moving displays.

The village covers different eras, from the 1960s to the present day, all in miniature form. In addition to the outdoor attractions, there are extras such as a 4D theatre and themed indoor areas.
