Parker’s Farm Static Caravans for Sale

Parker’s Farm Cottages and Caravans is located in Mead, Ashburton, Newton Abbot, South Devon.  It’s family-owned and family-run, with just 17 privately owned caravans.   The park is set in a rural location and has lovely countryside views over Dartmoor. The park has been used for holiday lets up until the end of 2024, but this has changed, and now the 17 caravans will be owned by private owners.

Parker’s Farm is easily accessible, with the main access via the Devon Expressway (A38). With this in mind, Newton Abbot is 19 minutes away, Exeter 35 minutes, and Plymouth 36 minutes.  The local towns are a little nearer, with Bovey Tracey just 15 minutes away, Buckfastleigh 10 minutes, Teignmouth 30 minutes and Dartington a 13-minute journey.

All in all, Parkers Farm Cottages and Caravans provides an ideal base to explore the local area, which has so many new places to visit, helping you make the most of your holiday and time away.

Dartmouth Harbour

Visit the idyllic town of Dartmouth –  Located on the River Dart, boat rides, paddle boarding and crabbing  are popular activities as are the old streets lined with independent and larger shops , cafes and restaurants.
Haldon Forest –  Enjoy cycle and walking trials for different abilities and finish in the cafe for a refreshing drink and one of their homemade cakes.
Shopping – no trip is complete without a shopping trip to Exeter Princesshay or Drakes Circus in Plymouth
River Dart Country Park – amazing walks, adventure playgrounds, trails and more.
Ashburton Swimming Pool – an outdoor pool open for swimming in the summer months.
Paignton Zoo – a family fun day for all of the family with over 2000 animals across 80 acres.
Stover Country Park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Local Nature Reserve.
Dartmoor – on the doorstep with limitless exploration – fresh water swimming, walks, riding, climbing and many quaint pubs on route.

Brixham Harbour

There are several beaches to choose from that are within easy reach:

The English Riviera is not far away with Paignton and Torquay being top choices.  Oddicombe Beach is 35 minutes drive, Broadsands Beach in Paignton is 53 minutes.  Dawlish White Sands 37 minutes away. Salcombe North Sands and Bantham Beach are also popular destinations.

Brixham Harbour is a must see with its large fishing fleet.  One of the largest in the UK. There is a viewing platform so spectators can watch the boats come and go plus there is a fish market selling all the fresh catch.
