When you decide that you are going to upgrade by part exchanging your existing static caravan, it’s important to remember that you probably won’t get the full price that you initially paid for it. There are a number of factors that will determine the money you will get for your static caravan and these include: the age of the caravan, the size of the model, the condition it is in and whether the caravan park or dealership will be able to resell it.

Even if you don’t get the full retail price for your caravan, getting a new model will be significantly easier. Just like part exchanging a car, the value of your current static caravan is deducted from the price of your desired new model. If your static caravan is in good condition, we then sell on the caravan second hand, so everyone wins!

The first point of action should always be to talk to the park owners and discuss with them what is on the “wish list” for your next caravan. From there, they will guide you to the different available models that meet your requirements in terms of the size and necessary amenities.

Part exchanging is a much more convenient process than trying to sell the caravan elsewhere and then shopping for a new one. With this method, there also won’t be a long period between selling and buying so you will always have access to a holiday home.
